MLM Business: What's the big Deal?

I get a lot of questions from people asking me why I joined the MLM business that I did. Well, the answer is really quite simple. The first (and really the main) reason that I joined this company is because of my upline. If you don't already know, I used to work for Jeffery and Erica Combs of Golden Mastermind Seminars (www.goldenmastermind.com). Well, about a month after I moved back home to Minnesota (we were out in CA with them), a got a call from the office saying that Erica had decided to join Isagenix and build the business. Without a second thought, I said "Sign me up!" I trusted that Erica, a multi-millionaire in the industry had done all the research and knew that this was one of the best companies out there.

After I started marketing the MLM business, I realized that this company had a lot to offer. First of all, the products worked the way they were supposed to for Kali, all four of our parents, and myself! I was on full board when I saw the potential this company had at changing the face of the country! (We market a body cleanse and one of the major side effects is weight loss, and I feel that so many diseases in this country are a direct reflection of the way we eat and how overweight a lot of people are).

After I had belief in the product, I looked at the marketing plan and realized that it was the best that I had seen in any MLM business (should I have expected anything but the best? I did sign up because of Erica Combs after all!) The company created a compensation plan that made it easy to get paid! (Don't get me wrong here people, work definitely goes into the business…but wow, they sure want to get their associates paid!) The company has really created a win-win situation for everybody when it comes to the compensation plan. It is easy (relatively speaking to other companies I have seen) to get paid, so associates become even more excited about the product because they really can make money…therefore the company makes more money! And, the compensation plan of this MLM business allows me to get paid on the efforts on my entire downline…infinity!! Even if I don't personally enroll the person 100 levels below me, I still get paid on his/her production! What does that mean for me? That I actually have a vested interest in assisting them with succeeding because I will benefit and so will they! This is because I believe it is important to get to know who Kali and I are (there is no point in finding out what company we represent until you find out who we are). Yes! Kali and I (along with both of our families) have used the products that we market with the results the business promotes.

(4) How much total money should I have for marketing/advertising?
When you start marketing this business, I would say to have a $300 minimum (if you're going to be doing things like pay-per-click or calling leads). However, it isn't how much you spend, it's the quality of advertisements you use. We provide weekly (sometimes more than once a week) webinars doing team training. You can also market the "old fashioned way" (to family, friends, and people you meet in life). I do this with online marketing with great results. Some people like to only market in person. Whatever way you decide to market, we provide support! A lot of people are worried about marketing to family and friends because there is often a negative view of multi-level and network marketing. We teach strategies that allow you to tell them what you're doing (after all, you don't want them coming to you when you're making money and saying "Why did you tell me?") without affecting your relationship!

(5) Do you actually teach your team specific strategies on free and paid marketing?
No. Just kidding. At least once a week, Kali and I hose a marketing webinar that we go over exact strategies that we have used online and offline to create success! This includes things like video marketing (see our YouTube channel here), pay-per-click advertisements on Google (Adwords), search engine optimization, cold calling, marketing to a warm market, etc.

(6) Am I able to transfer to your team if I already joined with someone else in your business?
Every time I get this question it makes me cringe inside because it means that somebody representing our company isn't doing their job as an entrepreneur and leader of providing support to their team (let alone it gives the industry a terrible name). Usually, the company doesn't allow transfers between teams. However, there can sometimes be exceptions made. You would have to get the permission of your upline, the company, and mine. Most of the time, if you express concern with your upline they will provide the support you deserve. I do not recommend changing teams unless it is your last option!
